METHOD OF CHARGED BODY

MISE-A-LA-MASSE METHOD

It is based on measuring the potential of the electric field around a current electrode. Current electrode is grounded in the conductive zone in the borehole, or in underground work, the second current electrode is placed at a considerable distance. Potential size and shape of the isolines reflect the position of the examined object. One use of this method is, in optimal conditions, the detection of direction and groundwater flow. In this case field is subsidized by salt solution.

 

 

The use of the method:

  • shape and size of the conductive element and the electrical conductivity
  • direction and rate of groundwater flow, determination of traces of underground streams
  • leak of the foil under landfill
